Padel in Montreal: Where to Play and How to Start
Padel in Montreal is the most developed scene in Canada. Here is where the courts are, what an hour costs, how booking works, and how to get your first game in 2026.

Padel in Montreal is further along than anywhere else in Canada. The city has indoor clubs downtown, in Town of Mount Royal, and in the West Island, outdoor courts in Laval, and a club on the South Shore that calls itself the first indoor padel club in the country. Book a court on Playtomic or a club app, rent a racket, and you can play this week for about $20 to $35.

Where are the padel courts in Montreal?
Montreal has clubs in the city core, the West Island, Laval, and the South Shore. Padel FVR runs three locations, Kopa Padel and Le Deuce Club cover the central neighbourhoods, Padel Ranch holds down Laval outdoors, and Club Padel Montreal serves Greenfield Park. Wherever you live in the region, there is a court within a reasonable drive.
Padel FVR (downtown, West Island, Cavendish)
Padel FVR is the biggest name in Quebec padel, with three Montreal-area locations and a fourth on the way. The Cathcart club sits right downtown, an easy stop after work. The West Island club in Dorval has three indoor padel courts plus a pickleball court, high ceilings, and an academy with serious coaching. There is also a Cavendish location. Booking runs through the FVR app. This is the same group that opened Padel FVR in Vancouver, so they know how to run a room.
Kopa Padel (Pointe-Saint-Charles)
Kopa Padel is on Rue Richardson in Pointe-Saint-Charles, close to Griffintown. It is one of the newer clubs in the city, with modern indoor courts and a proper bar area for after the match. Courts book through Playtomic, which also makes it one of the easiest clubs to join open matches at.
Le Deuce Club (Town of Mount Royal)
Le Deuce Club opened in March 2026 on Chemin de la Côte-de-Liesse in Town of Mount Royal. It mixes padel and pickleball with a social-first setup, so it leans club night as much as sport. If you want padel with a scene attached, this is the spot.
Padel Ranch and Prestige Padel (Laval)
Padel Ranch on Avenue Jacques-Bureau in Laval is the outdoor option, with three panoramic courts, a pro shop, and an outdoor bar. It books through Playtomic and is the place to be on a summer evening. Prestige Padel, also in Laval and also on Playtomic, adds two more courts north of the river.
Club Padel Montreal (Greenfield Park)
Club Padel Montreal in Greenfield Park calls itself the first indoor padel club in Canada, and it is still the home club for the South Shore. Courts are indoor and book through the club's own app. Lessons and events run all year.
How much does padel cost in Montreal?
Plan on $20 to $35 per player for a 60 to 90 minute session. Indoor courts rent by the court, usually in the $80 to $140 range per 90 minutes, and you split that four ways. Outdoor courts in Laval tend to sit at the friendlier end. Prime evening slots cost more than weekday mornings.

Indoor or outdoor padel in Montreal?
Both, and the calendar decides. From May to October, the outdoor courts at Padel Ranch are the best padel value in the region. From November to April, Montreal winter makes the choice for you, and the indoor clubs at FVR, Kopa, Le Deuce, and Club Padel Montreal keep the scene alive all year. Nobody stops playing in January anymore.
One tip for summer. Outdoor wind changes lobs more than you expect. If you are working on your overhead game, book indoor.
How do you book a padel court in Montreal?

How do you find partners and games in Montreal?
You do not need three friends who play. Open matches on Playtomic pair you with three players at your level, and Montreal has enough players that matches fill daily. The scene is bilingual and welcoming, so come as you are.
What gear do you need for padel in Montreal?
Three things, none complicated.

- Padel balls. They look like tennis balls but carry less pressure. Real padel balls make the game play right, and clubs charge more than you need to pay.
- Court shoes. The surface is turf dressed with sand, and running shoes slide on it. Proper padel shoes grip when you push off sideways, which is every third step in this sport.
